East Ventures on Instagram: "As WHO declared Covid19 as a pandemic, we have realized the damages it has imposed on the country, companies, community, and family. As we contemplate what matters at East Ventures the most, we believe that the well being of our people is our ultimate priority. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that we protect our people. Starting on 16 March, we will take the following measures: 1. All staff will work from home. This aims to reduce the risk of spread as we gather in the same place. We will use all virtual communication channels like Slack and Zoom. We have also sprayed disinfectant at our physical office on Saturday 14 March; and will perform another one on Thurs 19 March. 2. Social distancing - the spread of the virus is when there is contact with the carrier. Although working from home, we have advised our people to keep a distance with whom they meet All physical meetings will be replaced by video conferences or other virtual methods. 3. Limit traveling - our people will not be traveling internationally and domestically to avoid potentially catching the virus while commuting. For projects ongoing, we will all do it via a virtual method 4. We have advised all our people to keep personal hygiene and help remind their families to do the same. Wash their hands for 30 seconds and use hand sanitizer when arriving at their homes. 5. We have distributed masks, hand sanitizers, and thermometer for each of our team members. Extra quantity is given as such that they can protect not only themselves but also their family members. We all hope that the world can get through this difficult time. We apologize if our business activities do not run as usual, and we could not participate in events or take meetings in-person. Still, steps we take are to ensure that we could both be productive and yet keep our people safe."
